Theme: UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE OF WILLS, TRUSTS, & LETTERS OF ADMINSTRATION WHEN PURCHASING PROPERTY & ESTATE PLANNING FOR PROPERTY OWNERS.
The November edition of the Real Estate Investors series held on the 22nd of November 2019 at the Agip Hall Muson Centre Onikan Lagos. The theme for the series was “Understanding the role of wills, trusts, & letters of administration when purchasing property and estate planning for property owners” and it was curated by KParkwood Property services in collaboration with the Association of Corporate Trustees and witnessed an influx of stakeholders, Entrepreneurs and Real Estate investors across different sectors of the economy such as Legal, Banking, Telecommunications, Insurance, Manufacturing, Housing, Health, Oil & Gas amongst others.
The series which was compered by Mrs. Eyiyemi Rogbiyin and was well delivered by knowledgeable speakers; Mrs. D Olatokun (Chief Probate Registrar, Lagos State), Mrs Tokunbo Alli-Balogun, Mr Adekunle Awojobi (M.D FBNQUEST TRUSTEES) represented by Mr Rotimi Obende, and Mr. Idowu Durosinmi-Etti.
Exhibitors at the series were FBNQuest, Libra Law Office, Keexs, amongst others.
REIS 3.0 addressed the concerns on wills, trusts and letters of administration, estate planning, inheritance tax, among others. K.Parkwood & Association of Corporate Trustees are keen on discouraging the apathy of the general public towards writing wills, placing properties under trusts, documentations arising from inheriting properties and Names under which to hold their properties.
